In this Short-Term Research Program, students can spend two months in summer or an entire semester carrying out research abroad without being officially enrolled in their designated school. By conducting research in top-ranked school, students are expected to develop their expertise and acquire international way of thinking as the first step to become globally active scholars.

In 2013, three graduate students visited the department of engineering in Cambridge University during the summer.
