Overseas Degree Program allows graduate students to officially enroll in one of the partner universities of Kyoto University and earn a mater degree in their respective field of study. This program aims to foster a future generation of globally-minded scholars by having outstanding graduate students study and obtain a degree at top-level universities. The program will cover the cost of tuition, living, and airfare.

In 2013, one graduate student studied at School of Clinical Medicine at Cambridge University. More schools are scheduled to be added in 2014.

Period

One year (starting in October every year)

Admissions Numbers

1~2 students per year (one student in 2013)

Eligibility

Applicants must be a full-time graduate student of Kyoto University, have an outstanding academic record and intention to promote international academic exchange, demonstrate their language proficiency (above IELTS 7.0), and have a grade point average above 2.3 in their graduate school.
