Application Information

The John Mung Program for Students is largely divided into four programs (more programs will be added in 2014).

This page provides application guidelines for each of the four programs.

Oxford University Special Summer School Program (eligible for both college and graduate students)
Oxford University Special Summer School Program (eligible for both college and graduate students) This program allows students to take English courses and special lectures offered at Oxford University while staying at one of its residential colleges for one month.
Overseas Degree Program (eligible for graduate students only)
Overseas Degree Program (eligible for graduate students only) In this program, graduate students can officially enroll in degree programs at partner universities of Kyoto University, and earn a master degree in their respective fields.
Short-Term Research Program (for graduate students only)
Short-Term Research Program (for graduate students only) This program offers grants to graduate students who intend to carry out short-term research abroad without officially enrolling in their designated universities. Students will spend two months or one semester conducting independent research over the summer.
Short-Term study Abroad Program in East Asia (for both college and graduate students)
This program supports short-term stay over the summer or spring at partner universities in East Asia (China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and South Korea).
More programs will be added in 2014.
